Requirements: | You will need to make two swatches before the start of the class. Use light colored, smooth, worsted weight yarn, and size 8 or 9 needles. Swatch one: cast on 20 stitches, work in stockinette stich (knit one row, purl one row, repeat these two rows) until it is about 4 inches long. Do not bind off, leave on needle. Swatch two: cast on 20 stitches, work in 2x2 ribbing (*K2, P2*, repeat across the row) repeat for each row until it is about 4 inches long. Do not bind off, leave on needle. Please also bring a circular needle several sizes smaller than you used for your swatches. |
