Double Knit Socks (two socks at a time!)

Make two socks at a time with Double Knitting! With this technique you will use double knitting to create one sock right inside the other. Use your preferred needles for socks - dpns, magic loop, short circular, flyers - any will work for this method. We will be making top-down, dk weight socks with a heel flap, and a kitchenered toe. This class is broken into 3 sessions - cast-on/ribbing, turning the heel, and toe decreases/separating your socks. Once you are comfortable with the method, this technique is applicable to most any sock pattern!
Before this class you will want to be comfortable with making socks, as well as double knitting in the round. If you want to brush up on your double knitting (or learn it for the first time!) consider our Double Knit Cowl class on June 15.
