Knitting Continental

In the United States there are two dominant knitting styles - English and Continental. English style holds the yarn in the right hand and wraps, or throws, the yarn around the needle. Continental style holds the yarn in the left hand and the needle picks the yarn and pulls it through your stitch. There is less motion in Continental knitting which can reduce repetitive motion fatigue, and some people find it to be faster.
If you are curious about trying Continental Knitting, join us for this two hour class. We will be starting a dishcloth and practicing Continental knit and purl stitches.
