Urth Yarns Patina Shawlette Kit

The Patina Scarf is worked holding a strand of fingering weight merino and a variegated silk mohair together, from point to point, increasing and decreasing along the right-hand side.  A simple rib stitch is offset to create the wavy texture on the RS and a woven basketweave-like texture on WS. This makes the scarf fully reversible, with neat edges created by selvedge stitches.  Two slit openings create a pull-through detail, for a decorative fastening option - the stitches are divided into 3 sections, each worked separately in pattern, then joined again to finish the decrease section.
